Service Terms and Conditions – Window Tinting and Ceramic Coating Application
1. Immediate Service Inspection
Upon completion of the window tinting or ceramic coating service, the client is responsible for immediately inspecting the work performed on the vehicle.
Any issues identified, including vehicle damage caused directly by the service provider, must be communicated immediately to the service provider while still on-site.
For any claim to be considered valid, the client must request a pre-service and post-service inspection with photographic documentation prior to the commencement of the service. This is essential to prove that any potential damage was caused by the installer.
No claims will be accepted after the service provider has left the site if the inspection checklist was not completed and signed by both parties.
False or unsupported claims may result in legal action. Tint Pro reserves the right to fully reject any post-service complaints not supported by the required on-site checklist.
2. Product Warranty
2.1 Window Tinting
The film applied comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects such as excessive fading, peeling, or bubbling.
This warranty is valid only if proper care and maintenance instructions are followed and is non-transferable (valid only for the original purchaser).
Issues arising from improper maintenance, use of harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaning methods are excluded. Films installed outside legal limits are at the customer’s own risk.
Shade Variation: Tint Pro applies the shade chosen by the client; however, due to supplier production batches, slight variations of approximately 3–4% may occur. This is normal manufacturing tolerance and is not the responsibility of Tint Pro.
2.2 Ceramic Coating
The ceramic coating applied is covered by a 5-year warranty against premature degradation, loss of hydrophobic properties, or failure due to product defect or incorrect application.
Warranty is valid only if proper aftercare instructions are followed.
Damage caused by improper maintenance (e.g., automatic car washes with abrasive brushes), use of strong acidic or alkaline chemicals, physical abrasion, environmental neglect (bird droppings, sap, bugs), or failure to follow post-installation care guidelines is excluded.
3. What Voids Your Ceramic Coating Warranty
The warranty may be voided if:
The vehicle is washed within the first 7 days after application.
Abrasive tools or brushes are used.
Non-approved chemical products (acidic or caustic) are applied.
Contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, or bugs are left for long periods.
Regular maintenance washes are not performed at least every 2–4 weeks.
Paint correction, polishing, or compounding is performed without professional evaluation.
4. Service Application Warranty – Window Tinting
Tint Pro offers a workmanship warranty. Issues such as bubbles, peeling, lifting, discoloration, or scratches caused by application errors will be reperformed at no additional cost by the same installer.
Warranty requests must be submitted via the website tintpro.com.au → “Message Us” or via email: warranty@tintpro.com.au.
Requests must include: a detailed description of the issue, photos/videos showing the problem, a copy of the warranty certificate, and a copy of the service invoice.
Coverage is limited to reperformance of the service by the same provider. No refunds or third-party reimbursements will be issued.
Damage from poor maintenance, harsh chemicals, environmental exposure, or physical impact is excluded.
5. Liability Disclaimer
Tint Pro is not responsible for pre-existing damage to the vehicle’s windows, trims, plastics, or paint.
Tint Pro is not liable for issues arising from improper use, environmental exposure, or lack of aftercare.
Customers are responsible for ensuring tint or coating levels comply with local laws.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. Consequential, indirect, or special damages are excluded.
For vehicles over 10 years old, interior plastics or trims may be brittle or deteriorated due to age or UV exposure. Tint Pro will take reasonable care but is not responsible for breakage of aged, fragile, or dry parts during service.
6. Cancellation Policy
Vehicle services cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $100 fee.
Home window tinting cancellations after booking confirmation will incur a 30% fee, due to custom-cut materials and time allocation.
A 20% deposit is required to secure home window tinting bookings.
Exceptions may be granted at Tint Pro’s discretion.
7. Payment Terms
Full payment is required immediately after completion of the service.
Accepted payment methods: Cash, PayID, Credit/Debit Card.
Credit/debit card payments incur a 1.4% surcharge.
Late payments may result in interest charges and debt recovery actions.
8. Refund Policy
No refunds once a service has been rendered.
If service issues are covered under warranty, Tint Pro will reperform the service at no additional cost.
Refunds or compensation from third-party services are not issued.
9. Post-Installation Care
Window Tinting: Do not lower windows or wash for at least 3 days. Avoid ammonia-based or abrasive cleaning products.
Ceramic Coating: Do not wash for at least 7 days. Avoid chemical exposure and harsh conditions during curing. Follow all care instructions provided.
Customers are responsible for following aftercare guidelines; failure may void the warranty.
For mobile services, customers must provide a fully enclosed garage or indoor space. If unavailable, the customer accepts minor dust/contamination risk. Tint Pro is not responsible for imperfections caused by an unsuitable installation environment.
